When my wife was pregnant with our first child, my mom told me she wished the child would be just like me. Apparently, I was a really independent child growing up, and that became the personal brand that I carried.
When I became an entrepreneur, I wanted to carry the same independence through to my business. I thought no one else could do it better than I could, but that was a huge mistake. If I was going to make any significant impact with my life and my services, something had to change. I had to learn to delegate.
Delegation is the key to creating impact, becoming your best self, and building a successful business. It allows you to get your team to perform better and do what they’re meant to.
