What is your vision of success? The thing is, personal success is unique, but it often gets buried under other people’s ideas of what matters. When you take the time to discover what success really means to you, it can become a powerful force in your life.
Unfortunately, too many people buy into someone else’s vision. You see, we’re all a byproduct of our influencers – and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. That’s how we grow and learn. It’s important to have mentors who will help us navigate through life.
But when we buy in too deeply into someone else’s template, we can quickly lose our own vision of success. Personal success can only be defined by you. It’s something that is deeply connected with the authentic version of yourself.
So, how do you find out what success means to you?
Take this statement: “I know I am successful when…” And then finish the thought using the seven aspects of life: spiritual, mental, physical, familial, social, financial, and career. For example, “I know I am successful when I tell my family members each and every day that I love them.”
By using this exercise, you will soon begin to develop your own unique vision of success. Remember, only you know when you’ve achieved personal success. Get clear on your ideal future, and start to build the life you want.
