Your personal core values are an important part of your life. They’re an extension of your why or your purpose, and they express who you are. Learning how to find your core values will benefit you immensely in your business or your chiropractic career, and in life as a whole. In this video, we talk about the importance of getting to know your core values and your true essence as a person.
You’re so much bigger and deeper than who you think you are. Your true essence is so immense that you can keep finding new areas and dimensions to who you are as a person. Within these lie your personal core values. And while it’s not easy to figure out everything about ourselves, it doesn’t mean we should stop trying.
You can start learning how to find your core values by imagining you had 24 hours left to live. What would you do? What would you say? What would you find meaningful? Really get into the mindset that you’ve got one day left. Write down everything that you would do, and then look for repeated words and themes.
Doing this exercise will help you circle in on who you are and what you truly value as a person. Once you find that out, you’ll gain a tremendous amount of what I call the 3 C’s – Certainty, Conviction, and Clarity.
Having these will make you more effective and efficient at everything you do – whether you’re trying to build a business, grow your chiropractic career, or form new relationships – you can make amazing things by knowing the core values that ground all your actions.
Learning how to find your core values can help you step into your authentic life and head towards success without hesitations. Guided by your personal core values, you can start living your life as you’re truly meant to.
