In today’s video, I want to discuss the 3 ESSENTIAL keys to chiropractic progress reports to help you and your clients in seeing and tracking medical progress. The healing process doesn’t happen overnight, which only makes measuring progress through progress evaluations and progress reports a MUST.
You might be thinking, “Why are progress reports necessary?” The answer is simple. Doing progress reports helps you follow through the objectives and plans which you set out to do or achieve before.
When you read a book, you read it one chapter at a time. You might even read 3 chapters and give the book a break until you get back to it again. Similarly, with a care plan, there’s a series of care and adjustments that you must lay out, after which you can stop and take note of how far you’ve come and how well you’ve done.
This will give you an idea about the areas that need further development and more attention, and areas that you should maintain as you have before. Progress reports are not just mandatory but they’re also a good business and moral practice for chiropractors.
When doing a medical progress report, I highly suggest that you pre-frame it. This means that you must encourage your patients by letting them know how important it is to reach the progress review stage, to ensure that they see the value of the changes that you’ve helped them achieve throughout their healing process.
