In this video, I pose seven questions that will help you identify whether or not you’re experiencing burnout symptoms. That way, if you are feeling burned out, you’ll know it’s time to come up with a burnout recovery plan.
Here are those seven questions:
Are you prone to having emotional outbursts? This often comes up in relationships. Are you feeling easily triggered by the people you interact with? If so, you’re probably feeling burned out.
Do you find it difficult to get out of bed in the morning? Nobody loves getting up early in the morning. But if you have to really force yourself to get going with your day, then you’re probably not excited about it.
Do you have focus lapses during the day? By lapses I don’t mean you lose track of time because you’re engaged in an activity. This is one of the primary burnout symptoms because it means your mind is tired.
Does business and life seem too hard lately? That’s a definite sign that you need a burnout recovery plan.
Are you constantly acting one way and then the other? Like Jekyll and Hyde?
Do you feel like people are picking on you? Are you quick to feel like the victim?
Do you feel like you’re moving from one health concern to the next?
Do you feel like you’re not living up to your optimum potential?
If you answered, “yes” to any of these questions, then it may be time for you to add more balance to your life with a burnout recovery plan. Don’t ignore your burnout symptoms. They’re telling you to make a change.
